Wow amazing story. I saw the movie years ago and thought it was good. But it hardly scratched the surface of the book. What an amazing story king is just that... The King

A good book and odd story. For some reason I found it easy to relate to the main character which added to my overall enjoyment. Some people get bitten by a radioactive spider some go in a coma; how many times have you "wished" a particular life experience resulted in some "special" power?. The way the "hero" deals with the "bad" is quite alarming and after reading the book I don't know how I would handle the situation should it be me. I like a story to be entertaining and I like a story to have meaning.

Classic king but no big suprises. A good quick read from one of America's greatest treasures 3.5 stars

About the author
