I have never read a book that has had to much story. I just finished the book in three hours. You couldnt pay me enough money to put it down. The whole thing is perfect to ages to be honest 14-22. I say so young because the things in this book are for anyone who is in high school or college. This book is great and worth every penny, but if you dont wanna pay for an amazingly awsome book go to your library -Ally Dukes Top Android Reviews (:

Take "Can't Buy Me Love", "She's all That" and "Mean Girls" and you've got this book. It read like script and ends a with an abrupt but happily ever after moment so it will be an enjoyable movie. My largest qualm with this book was the message it failed to project ,that is there is a little done to disarm the term of "The Duff".

"B," was rude, ignorant, and always thought she was better than everyone. She wasn't clever or sarcastic. She took cynicism to a new level..she was just hateful. I think the movie was better... and I always prefer the books over the films. In the movie, she was sarcastic and cynical but not excessive. This book screams written by a teenage girl. I won't be back for more. I hope Kody(anyone) isn't this hateful in real life. Lighten up kid, life's too short. You haven't even been alive that long to hate it.

About the author

Kody Keplinger was born and raised in a small Kentucky town. She wrote her first novel, The DUFF (Designated Ugly Fat Friend), during her senior year of high school. The DUFF was a YALSA Top Ten Quick Pick for Reluctant Readers and a Romantic Times Top Pick. Since then, Kody has written two more young adult novels, Shut Out and A Midsummer's Nightmare, and a middle grade novel, The Swift Boys & Me. She is the cofounder of Disability in Kidlit, a website devoted to the representation of disability in children's literature. Currently, Kody lives in New York City, where she teaches writing workshops and continues to write books for kids and teens.
