You know how you zoned out for much of the Star Wars prequels while they talked about trade federations, waiting all the while for a light saber fight, or at least a force choke? Be prepared for a lot of ernest discussion regarding the organization of naked slavery before you get to the good stuff. Still a good read, but no where near as saucy as the others.

I was soooo excited to learn of a 4th book in the Sleeping Beauty series. Read the first the books and loved them. Anne Rice truly outdid herself!!! One problem... I'm not sure if I can wait until April

I have read the first 3 books in this series many times! I was not aware until yesterday that there was a fourth book. I'm so glad I found it and read it because I kind of felt like I was left hanging there on the third one, like what happened after they took off for their Castle. Loved the whole series will read this many many times now!

About the author

Anne Rice was born in New Orleans in 1941. She is the author of many bestselling novels, including the widely successful Vampire Chronicles. Her first novel, Interview with the Vampire, was made into a film in 1994 starring Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. Her other books include the Mayfair Witches series, the novels The Mummy or Ramses the Damned, Violin, Angel Time, the Sleeping Beauty trilogy, and most recently, The Wolf Gift. She passed away in 2021.
