I use this book for junior school-age children wirh my own material as well as for adults. Its inexpensive and covers the basics before going into more depth. Like the explanation of major scales. Would be 5 stars if it included bass notes earlier. I use this for fingerstyle playing, inspite if the emphasis on use of the plectrum. Disappointed the later editions dont include the chord list which was on the back cover.
