Chilling. Lusty. Both needed for the best Sci-fi/Romance. Klause has caught a small grasp of Twilight, truly explaining the life of Jacob, and bringing young adults to there own taste of Blood and Chocolate. And will absolutely posses you too to take a glance out your own window and wonder if a loup-garou is waiting to love. Brava Klause. Brava indeed.

With each change a sharp pain is felt at the base of the spine and then the beast is released. This book was a good romance novel that involed the society and rules of being a werewolf.

Blood and Chocolate is my favorite book of all time. I first read it in high school and fell in love with viv. The story has so many twists and turns. Annette takes a different route then I expected when I first read it. Because of the story and how differently viv was portrayed; instead of a girly girl who can't do anything, viv can take care of herself and I love her being such a powerful yet sensitive woman. I fell in love with this book and recomend it to everyone.

About the author

Annette Curtis Klause is head of children's services at the Aspen Hill Community Library in Maryland.  Born in Bristol, England, she now lives in Hyattsville, Maryland, with her husband and their cats.

When she was young, Annette's daddy sat her on his lap and told her the plots of the best old horror movies.  This seems to have made a strong impression.

Annette Curtis Klause holds a B.A. in English literature and an M.L.S. from the University of Maryland, College Park, but when excited, she still has a tendency to howl.
