About this ebook

“When Kristia discovers that her new boyfriend is the Norse god of winter, she’s plunged into a world beyond her wildest dreams… A breathtaking fantasy series brimming with romance, magic, and danger!” -Bookbub

From international bestselling author S.T. Bende comes the complete story of The Elsker Saga (Books 1-3, PLUS novella).

When bookish student Kristia Tostenson discovers her new boyfriend is the Norse God of Winter, her orderly life becomes very messy. With Ragnarok, the end of days, on the horizon and a lunatic haunting her dreams, Kristia has to find a way to convince Ull that breaking the rules is the only way to survive; that defying the order he's sworn to uphold is their only chance to be together. And when someone starts asking the wrong questions, Kristia realizes the crazy visions she's had all her life might be the key to saving their realms... even if they end up costing her her life.

The Elsker Saga Box Set includes all three books in S.T. Bende’s internationally bestselling ELSKER SAGA, plus the bonus novella, TUR.

ELSKER:

Bookish Kristia is stunned to discover that her boyfriend, Ull Myhr, isn’t even human. He’s a Norse god, forbidden to love and destined to die in a battle that will destroy Earth. But these two just might break all the rules — and save the world while they’re at it…

ENDRE:

Winning the heart of an immortal assassin was a dream come true for Kristia Tostenson. But her decision to become immortal could end in heartbreak--not only for Kristia, but also for the god who loves her. While Ull would do anything to protect his bride, even the God of Winter is powerless against the Norse apocalypse. Ragnarok is coming . . . and the gods aren't even close to ready.

TRO:

As things heat up between Kristia and Ull, a frost settles over Asgard. Kristia's barely begun to understand what she's capable of, and controlling her powers seems completely out of her grasp. With her new family fighting for their lives, and Ull fighting for their future, Kristia has to make a devastating choice: preserve the life she loves, or protect the god she can't live without?

TUR:

Inga Andersson has it all—great friends, a job as Odin’s personal fight choreographer, and a happy ever after with her realm’s hottest assassin. But when evil invades Asgard, her world comes crashing down. With Ragnarok on the horizon, Inga has to decide how she’ll spend her final moments of freedom. Because once the battle begins, Inga’s perfekt life will be nothing more than a memory.

Overall a sweet and exciting series that links the norse gods with the human realm. Here are my reviews book by book... Tur: A short, but vivid outside view into the Elsker saga. This novella took less than an hour to read. Nonetheless, in its few pages, S.T. Bende was able to bring Inga's personality--slightly more catty, fierce and lascivious than Kristia's who's POV we get in the other books--in the fight scenes with her boys, her stand-offs with Odin and her tangy romance with Gunnar. Inga also gives a view into Asgard, showing the exciting daily lives and vicious politics of Ms Bende's Norse gods and goddesses. This short, fun introduction to S.T. Bende's work will suck you in for the rest of the series. Elsker: Kristia is an awkward, small-town girl from Nehalem, Oregon. What starts out being a big step for her going abroad for college soon turns into one of her typical stumbles at the unexpected romance with the hot, detached Norse, Ull Myhr. This first book in the Elsker Saga is a whirlwind introduction to Norse mythology. Although their interactions were sweet, I had a bit of a hard time accepting the rapid tumble the main characters take into each other's lives (instalove). Written from Kristia's point of view, it's quite easy to share her sudden, overwhelming emotions and to empathize with her decision-making struggles, whereas Ull retains a mysterious quality that intrigues. S.T. Bende writes with vivid, clear descriptions and a dramatic, fluid plot that alternates between very rapid and a bit slow. Having the next book ready will help with the cliffhanger... Endre: The second in the Elsker series seems to be more of a transition than a story in itself. A little slower than the first book, in Endre we follow Kristia as she acclimates her life with Ull, and all that being with a Norse god entails with a lot of focus on the interactions between the couple--and those who try to hinder their being together. Tro: The last in the Elsker series weaves around Ragnarok. The first half of the book is a little slower, swoon-worthy romance of the hotness that is Norse god of Winter, Ull Myrh. The second half is heart-pounding of a different kind: all action. The imagery in these scenes which take place in various realms was well described by S.T. Bende and although the ending feels a little rushed, it's a good conclusion to a great series.

It was good, but you made Kristia weak. She did not fight Loky at the potential of a new goddess. No winter fight she could have give him more. Good otherwise. Thank you

The Elsker Series by S.T. Bende is a gripping story that you will not be able to put down. It is a tale on how Ull god of Winter ended up falling for a mortal from Midgard (Earth). There was a prophecy that he would but he didn't believe in it. Ull deep down knew he had been waiting for her for all his existence. He was fascinated when he met her in person and ever since then he couldn't get her out of his head. Krisitia is not like other mortals or people Ull has met she stands up for herself and doesn't put up with his crap. She is stubborn, pigheaded and stole the god of Winters heart from the first hello she said. Ull is also very stubborn and overprotective which can be a bad combination at times when being with Kristia. Krisitia has had dreams or visions all her life and it has made her an outcast in the very small town she is from. When she meets Ull she accepts everything about her including her mouth and they way she talks to him. Krisitia comes to realize that Ull means everything to her and she ends up falling in love with him, the first and only man ever. She didn't have a great home life but when she meets Ull, Olaug, Inga and Gunnar she has found her new family. Kristia knows that she will do anything to protect them including keep things from Ull in order to do what she needs to do. She knows that she will end up marrying Ull and she will fight to become one of them and to help them beat Ragnarok. No one knows when that will happen but when the time is right Kristia will help the ones she loves, her new family and handle her own when beating their enemy's. The Elsker Series is a series that everyone should read it has everything from romance to kicking butt in battle. You will be hooked and brought into the book as you read. Thank you S.T. Bende for an amazing adventure.
