Ratings and reviews

This was a good story but while I liked both Drake and Claudia, I'm not sure I felt the chemistry or passion as much as I would have thought with fated mates. There was a lot more focus on the non-romance aspect of the plot, which isn't necessarily a bad thing as it was well written. A good adventure and good backstory and I wasn't lost though this was my first time reading Rudolph, so it can be read as a standalone. I would read more by the author. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a sweet romance between Claudia and Drake, that starts out with a little misdirection. Drake is guided to the Royal Matchmaker by his mother, but after receiving least an helpful information, doesn't know what to do, so embarks upon a rescue mission with a friend, where he meets Claudia and wonders if she might be his mate. Invisible Space Monsters! Yikes! Drake’s mother has told him he has to find a bride, but the Royal Matchmaker said if he searches for her, he’ll never find his fated mate. His friend Sentinel asks him for help on a rescue mission, so he accepts. Claudia and the crew she’s with are those in need of rescue. I loved how Claudia cautiously leapt into danger with relish, living life to its fullest. Drake and Claudia were flammable together!
