I was so excited for The Score Keeper but it was a bitter sweet feeling because I knew this was going to be the last book in the series. Let me just say Gina Azzi finished this series with a bang, the final book was as good as the first and it’s a perfect addition to bring the whole series together. This is Boston Hawks owner Scott Redland and Noelle DiSanto’s entertaining yet emotional story. Noelle should be off limits because she is the daughter of the New York Sharks a rival teams owner but she has walked away from hockey to start a career she loves, owning and running two bakery shops and that’s why she is in Boston. Scott knows what he wants with his team, determined and successful in the world of hockey but he also is a kind, caring man who hasn’t found the right woman until he meets Noelle. What follows is a beautifully written romance with the perfect mix of love, humour and passion, two soulmates finding love when they least expected it. This hook touched me on so many levels, I swooned, I smiled, I giggled as The Score Keeper took me to a happy place, it was great catching up with the other team members and their partners as well as getting an introduction to the upcoming new series the Tennessee Thunderbolts. Exciting times ahead that I can’t wait for.

5 Star Review The Score Keeper (Boston Hawks Hockey #9) by Gina Azzi Have you ever wanted to grab a book and dive in but at the same time dread starting it? That was me with The Score Keeper. Knowing this is the final book in what has over time become one of my favourite hockey series was bitter sweet. This book was everything I was hoping it would be and so much more. A fitting end to a wonderful series. The Score Keeper is Boston Hawks owner Scott Reland and Noelle DiSanto’s story an oh what a story this was. Every time I finish one of these books I feel as though I have a new favourite and this book was no exception. I fell hard an fast for Scott, a determined, successful man who has a heart of gold; such a swoon worthy, protective and caring man. Noelle is the daughter of the owner of his rival the New York Sharks. She has finally escaped the hockey world and opened a bakery in Boston. This book had me smiling, laughing and crying and there were certainly some emotional moments. The chemistry between them is impossible to ignore, and I loved the development of their relationship. For me Scott and Noelle are two halves of a whole, soul mates who were meant to find one another. I just loved their relationship and how Scott offered his support and gave her the courage to stand up to her father. Catching up with the other members of the team and their significant others just added to my enjoyment of the story. It was also an introduction to Ms. Azzi's upcoming series the Tennessee Thunderbolts and I for one cannot wait.

First of all, I don't consider it's enemies to lovers romance because Noelle and Scott hit it off from the beginning. And considering they have a history together, it's kind of a second chance for them. The book is well written and I enjoy reading Scott encourages Noelle to follow her dream until she unintentionally hurts him that is. Scott is so sweet and caring. Luckily a part when Noelle pisses me off is after 75% of the book though and she knows about her fault immediately so it's just a hiccup in the story for me. Aside from a drama with Noelle's family the story is sweet, steamy, and entertaining with Scott's assistant, team players and their significant others so I decide to give the book 4.5 stars.
