Josephine is determined to prove her father was not a criminal after a scandal that surrounded his death. She is posing as caretaker of a ranch while she works to perfect the project she and her father were working on at the time of his death. When Gabe's father leaves him the family ranch with the condition he live ther for a month to keep it, he is determined to just sell it and be done. When he visits the ranch and sees Josie the lines aren't quite as black and white.

The Legacy series shows that love is what makes a family. The Andrades and Barringtons showed the good, bad and ugly that bitterness and hate can do.
