About this ebook

A Tutor Jock, Enemies-to-Lovers, New Adult Romance

Kason

I’m what you call a superstar, a god, a winner.

I’m good at everything I do and

I know exactly how to get what I want.

Being a professional snowboarder is my purpose in life.

I’m only at Cranmore University to appease my parents.

But, if I want to graduate, I need to pass physics.

And, since failing is not an option,

Blackmailing a nerd who hates me is my last resort.

Shay

I’m what some call a geek, a nerd, a loser.

And I don’t care.

I know who I am.

I know where I come from.

And I know exactly where I’m going.

That’s why I’m at Cranmore University.

To get my degree and begin my life.

But that plan gets quickly derailed

Thanks to an unbecoming video

A blackmailing snowboarder

And his ex who’s hell-bent on making my life miserable.

They say everyone comes into your life for a reason.

What happens when that person is the opposite of what you want...

but exactly what you need?

I am and always will be a huge fan of Jen. It was love at first read for me. I fell in love instantly with her magical, emotionally-charged writings. This has driven me to seek and eagerly anticipate her upcoming books. For I know being a hopeless romantic myself, I will again be transported in a place where I can forget the real world and just be captivated and mesmerized by her story, and fall in love deeply with her fascinating characters. And just as I have predicted, Something About You did all that for me. Thank you so much Jen for the arc. I had an amazing time falling in love with Kason and Shay. You know in my heart it will always be Caden and Finlay. But as you introduced me to more of your characters, I too am falling in love with them hard and fast. The moment Shay and Kason met, I knew I was a goner. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE KASON AND SHAY SO MUCH!!! (shouting at the top of my lungs). You might ask me why all caps? Well, you just have to read Something About You to find out for yourself how amazing these two characters are. They might have started as enemies, but the way they fell in love was epic. I was smiling, swooning and feeling giddy while cheering them on to just admit that they are falling in love with each other. I loved this book so much that right after I read the last page, I read it all over again. I couldn't get enough of Kason and Shay. I wanted more time with them. I needed more pages to read; marinating and digesting the words to its fullest extent possible. I just didn't want this book to end. Period. Crazy right? But I just can't help it. Kason and Shay have touched and affected me so much. I know I will be thinking about them for weeks and even months to come. Kinda hard to move on. But I have a strong feeling I will be seeing them again. Sports romance has always been a favorite of mine. It never fails to give me the thrills and chills while reading the part where the characters are competing. I am not well-versed with snowboarding. But I did watch some videos to have a visual perspective. I had so much fun and I can keenly imagine Kason doing all those jumps, flips and tricks. I can see myself beside Shay cheering him on. I got nervous, my heart palpitating endlessly, and was sitting at the edge of my seat. Truly an amazing reading experience! I love Kason and Shay's personality. Opposites but they both complimented each other. I fell in love with Kason's cocky, arrogant, confident but yet so sweet, caring and loving personality. The sweet things that he did for Shay made me want to hug him and thank him for making Shay happy and feel special. I wish I can elaborate. But I know I will be giving out some spoilers and I can't take that excitement from you. I got teary eyed but at the same time, my heart was overjoyed. Kason was my kind of book boyfriend. On the other hand, Shay's personality was admirable. Because despite of her past, she still has a big heart with so much care and love to give. Though I may not have experienced what she has undergone, I still felt her pain and her being strong and straightforward endeared me more to her. I love everything about this book. I love the storyline. The characters are perfect. I love how Kason and Shay met. Love the circumstance that brought them together. I knew then, that I was gonna have an enjoyable, fun and exciting reading spree. The love-hate relationship got me excited to turn the pages. I was so engrossed that I didn't want to let go of the book. I love the secondary characters as well. They were so easy to fall in love with. It got me wishing that they too will have their own happily ever after. I highly recommend this fantastic, heart-warming book. My heart was overflowing with so much emotions. I love how this book induced me to laugh hard, smile a lot, cry a bit and swoon like a teenager. Definitely a must read. Congratulations Jen!!! You totally outdid yourself!

This book is absolutely wonderful! It is the first book of J. Nathan I read and I think the author writes it well with the perfect amount of angst, witty banters and bickerings between Shay and Kason, their off-the-charts chemistry, and intriguing plot. They are opposites attraction and I like the idea of a hottie athlete falling in love with a sassy nerdy girl because it is so entertaining to read Kason chases after Shay to get her attention. Shay's story also makes me feel heartbreaking and I am so glad that she finally has someone to take care of her. I love Shay. From her family's background, she is still strong and smart. And I think Kason isn't that bad because he still helped Shay even when they were enemies. I enjoy reading the book so much and finish reading in just a few hours. Shay and Kason is a must read if you like reading a cocky athlete meets his match and makes him become a better man.

An engaging enemies to lovers new adult romance read Shay, college freshman science major, has a horrible first encounter with Kason, college senior and elite snowboarder, the night before classes begin. As the story progresses things don’t seem to get better, a corner does eventually get turned, and when things spiral out of control the worst my be exactly what the need. J. Nathan’s Something About You is an engaging enemies to lovers new adult romance read. Shay and Kason are both broken, in different ways, but with enough elbow grease thy each get down to the sparkling center of the other. There are plenty of side characters that deserve to have their stories told that I would love to read. I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
