About the author

Howard Manko (Teaneck, NJ) is an internationally recognized authority on soldering and cleaning with more than 35 yars experience in the field. Prior to establishing his own consulting company in 1974, he was affiliated with AlphaMet International, Alpha Metals, and IBM. Manko received the IPC's President's Award for his work on solderability testing and often lectures and teaches in the U.S. and abroad.
