I love Ruth Cardello books. I love them so much I own all her Legacy series and own the first two books from her Andrades series. For that reason I could not wait for Maximum Risk to be released and pre-ordered it. I managed to finish the book in one day and am now counting the days until the last book in the series is released. Max and Tara's love story was frustrating at time and funny at others. I am really enjoying this series

Loved it!! These Andrade stories keep getting better and better! This book is about Max Andrade. The lone wolf brother who is tired of his dysfunctional family and all their drama. He thinks life is better lived alone. That is until he meets Tara Holmes and everything he thought he wanted doesn't look quite the same. When the secrets of his family and why Tara is really hanging around are discovered his new found feelings are truly put to the test. This book and the entire series is so well done it grabs you right from the start and you want to really get to know each one of these characters. I highly recommend this book and the series.

This book is fanfreakingtastic. From the first page to the last you're wrapped up in the yummy deliciousness that is Maxwell Andrade, a man who knows what he wants and what he wants is Tara Holmes. Tara is a women who was hired by his cousin Maddy to uncover secrets that she (Maddy) believes will bring Max and his brothers closer together. I'm a big believer in being careful what you wish for because it might just destroy your family also. Tara and Max chemistry is off the charts HOT and the witty banter that these two display is downright comical. Once again Ruth has hit it out of the ballpark with a great story, wonderfully flawed characters and hilarious humor that transports you right into the book and wishing that you was there. For me this book answered some questions but definitely kept me intrigued and anxiously anticipating the next Andrades book. Kudos Ruth for another winner!!!!

About the author

Ruth Cardello was born the youngest of 11 children in a small city in northern Rhode Island. She spent her young adult years moving as far away as she could from her large extended family. She lived in Boston, Paris, Orlando, New York--then came full circle and moved back to Rhode Island. She now happily lives one town over from the one she was born in. For her, family trumped the warmer weather and international scene. 

She was an educator for 20 years, the last 11 as a kindergarten teacher. When her school district began cutting jobs, Ruth turned a serious eye toward her second love- writing and has never been happier. When she's not writing, you can find her chasing her children around her small farm, riding her horses, or connecting with her readers online.
