These are heartfelt tunes from the Revolutionary War and the Civil War eras along with Appalachian love songs and gems from the 19th and early 20th centuries. About the author

Craig Duncan, a member of the North American Fiddler's Hall of Fame and Who's Who in Music and Musicians has been the featured instrumentalist on over ninety record albums, with sales in excess of five million copies. His music has been heard on TV shows Malcolm in the Middle and The Oprah Winfrey Show, as well as on programs on A&E, Biography, BET, PBS, History and other cable channels. He has produced numerous recordings for the gift shop market in a variety of musical styles. He is also recognized internationally for his many books and arrangements of fiddle and violin music published by Mel Bay Publications. He has recorded for artists including Randy Travis, Billy Dean, Kathy Mattea, Charlie McCoy and Roy Clark. He also performed as a musician on the Grand Ole Opry for 2 years and has worked live shows with many artists. Performing live is a big part of his love for music. His musical groups have performed throughout the country for a wide array of clients as well as making several tours of Scotland and Japan.
