An entertaining spin-off series, featuring Diesel and Gerwulf, from the Stephanie Plum, 'Between The Numbers' books. The novel introduces a new character, Lizzie Tucker, an Unmentionable, who has the ability to find empowered objects and bake incredible cupcakes. Her life spins out of control when Diesel recruits Lizzie as his new apprentice/partner and drags her into his search for the Seven Stones of Power. Throw in a ninja cat, a crazy monkey, an aspiring witch and Salem, Massachusetts and you have a recipe for one bizarre adventure. A good read for a rainy day, or a day at the beach.

I have read a lot of Janet Evanovich books. I have been getting a little bored with the Plum series. They have started to become predictable so I was pretty excited about a new series. This was my least favorite of any of this authors books.

I am very disappointed in this book. Nine bucks to be bored. Too much borrowed from Stephanie without the great characters. Wish i could get my money back!
