As a fan of martin and lewis, i got to say that i enjoyed reading this book. Alot or should i say, PLENTY, of insight (and new information you havent heard of) about their partnership. I do wish the book was a bit longer, but i felt that it was okay. After the split, pretty much the book talks about how the 60s and 70s were for them. If you already seen their documentary, then its all repeated info (Which i have seen before). Why they broke up?...well, just read it and come to your own conclusions.

I grew up in the '60's watching Martin & Lewis. This brought back memories of sitting in front of the (black & white) TV watching, laughing, enjoying.

A very interesting read. I enjoyed learning more about this period in their lives. I was born in 1950 & it gives alot of insight into how America was in the late 40s & early 50s. Good read.

JERRY LEWIS and Dean Martin sandwiched sixteen money-making films in between nightclub engagements, recording sessions, radio shows, and television bookings during their ten-year partnership. Over the following years Lewis remained in the spotlight as the groundbreaking creator and star of a series of hugely successful movie comedies. He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, and received numerous other honors for his tireless effort in the fight against the fourty neuromuscular diseases.
