About this ebook

The Worlds will never be the same...

The Swarmers are on the move. As star systems fall one by one, the League of Worlds begins to fragment. The Dread Pirate Zheng Yang advances her Golden Armada toward the League's core, bringing either death or salvation. The Prophet Sharo Khalin consolidates a theocracy in the spinward mid-worlds, while the League of Worlds concentrates everything toward a last-ditch defense against the Swarmers.

But unknown to all these major players, the Worlds' only hope lies in Lucian Abrantes, his crew, their starship, and of course, the powerful Orbs of Starsea. But even these powerful artifacts might not be enough to survive the dark days ahead.

He must reach the hellish planet of Hephaestus before his enemies do, and claim the Orb of Thermalism, located somewhere on its lava-ridden surface. Can Lucian secure the prize, or will enemies old and new stop him in his tracks?

This series is okay. It was great up until its hard to follow along when he has 3-4 people talking with no indication who's talking or asking what. The spelling and grammar is also horrendous, considering it's only been, what 3-4 months since the last release. I only read the first few chapters of The wasteland Chronicles and lost interest because of the way the 16? year old was calling a friend babe as she dies when they weren't even together. I get the same feeling from this series as I did from that series. The fact that multiple things are called Ragnarok is kinda ridiculous. I.E: the meteor that wiped out everything and brought the virus in the Wastland books, now it's their "new" ship called Ragnarök. The fact that my brother said they got "new" ships in the wasteland books and immediately got destroyed. Kinda the same in this since this is now their 3rd actual ship? What's next? They're going to lose their rations after just getting them. oh wait that happened already

Book 6 of the Starsea Cycle is a winner! Fast paced and really kept my attention. This whole series is a great mix of scifi and fantasy so if you love either or both, you will love this entire series. Each book just gets better and better! Can't wait til the next one comes out.

This is one of my favourites of the series so far, plenty of action and plot now the characters of the series are firmly established. It’s tricky to say much without giving spoilers away but there’s some unexpected surprises and unlikely partnerships. Great pace once again as book 5 seemed to slow a little with all the space travel but as Lucian’s powers have progressed all that has changed!
