next read HER ROUGE MATES, Brides 13 (Styx's story!). The Virgin series is so good. I thought it would be ho hum but each story is unique and interesting and steamy hot! This story most of all. I love Maggie and Bryn -- 4/18/2021. (note: skipping #12 to pick up again shortly)

I really like Grace Goodwin books, but I have to admit I wasn't sure about this one since the others Everis stories left me wishing for something more (a story for the other characters involved in the book.) I'm glad I took a chance and decided to read this book as it's an excellent book. If you are looking at the reviews you probably already look at the synopsis of the book and know that it tells the story of Kathie and Bryn (their characters were first introduced in His Virgin Mate) Although this is a standalone book, It's part of the interstellar brides series, and I would recommend reading His Virgin Mate first so you have a better understanding of the custom on Everis. This book is well written and the characters are well developed. It has some really sexy scenes, action scenes and a great plot. Overall I found the book really entertaining and complete. It has just enough of an opening to make you want more of Rogue 5 and Dani's stories. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This book is yet one of the best books from Ms Goodwin that I have read. It is amazing how once I start reading Ms Goodwin books, I cannot even put the book down until the very end. It got to the point that I was unaware that my phone battery was dying and it died during the middle of the story. (Nooooo!!!). I had to wait 10 mins for my phone to charge and have a decent amount of power. Talk about being frustrated. LOL!!!! Nonetheless, I went right back to reading once my phone was charged. This story was so exciting to read as we (the readers) are taken not to a new Planet but a Hyperion moon base called Rogue 5. This is not the type of base you want to visit. Imagine a place with different territories ruled by different gangs from that of Motorcycle gangs to the Mafia to the Cartels to the Yakuza and more each with their own territory to rule and yet somehow co-existing with one another but with caution. You pretty much get the picture of it. In this story we meet the ever-noble, ever-honorable Everis Hunter Bryn and his marked mate Katherine (Katie) who while she is a Virgin and while that might make her seem pure and sweet, she is anything but that as Katie knows way to well how tough life can be as she has had one hell of a life growing up on the mean streets and dealing with tragedy throughout her life. It is this experience that not only helps Katie survive throughout the story especially being in the moon base of Rogue 5 but also helps Bryn to survive it as well. Without Katie's wits, knowledge, and experience on the mean streets, Bryn would not have had a favorable outcome. Reading this book was like watching an intense movie filled with action, adventure, mystery, suspense, and of course such sizzling explicit sex. Imagine watching a movie that has a little bit of James Bond with not one but three hot-looking men (Bryn included) mixed with the lawlessness but organized order of Son's of Anarchy and sprinkled with the action of the Matrix. Seriously this story was one of her best stories yet and it just keeps getting better and better. There are other characters that are new and some from Ms Goodwin other books from before but the two characters that stand out are Styx and Blade. (Be still my wild ever-beating heart. LOL!!). OMG! These guys just about stole the show from Bryn. Reading about these guys will have your heart pounding and leave you a bit hot and bothered. I really cannot wait to learn and read more about them. As you can tell, I only inform on the highlights and what to expect in this book as well as to give a brief description of some of the characters from the book. I don't really want to give a synopsis of the book as I want the readers to read and find out on their own the synopsis. You have to read the book to know what I am talking about. I don't want to give away to much. It is that good! Wow!!! Ms Goodwin, you are extraordinarily AMAZING!!!! There is never a dull moment at all reading your books and your stories are literally out of this world. (No pun intended). You will always be amazing and I cannot even wait to read your next book.
