About the author

Born in Israel in 1976, Lavie Tidhar grew up on a kibbutz. He has also lived in South Africa, Vanuatu, Laos, and the United Kingdom. His short fiction began to appear in 2003. In 2012 he won the British Fantasy Award for his novella "Gorel & the Pot-bellied God", and the World Fantasy Award for his novel Osama.
