Abram Dailey had a difficult, mysterious and changing subject to write about. Some pundits have taken him to task for being less than scientific. But, he was about telling the story of a long-time friend who expressed extraordinary phenomena over the course of decades. Living without food for many years. Loss of usual senses and replacement with inner ones. Producing works of art in a mangled body and without use of the five senses. Mollie still stands as an enigma. Judge Dailey told her story imperfectly and with frequent repetition, but he has left a picture and narrative for interested readers and researchers to value for more generations to come.
