This was sooo good! I loved the story and I love that this is a spinoff/new series from the Kings of Chicago North. We get the next generation which I adore! I loved Conner and Dana. They will pull you in from beginning to end and hold your attention the entire time. I loved the way that their relationship developed and they had to overcome quite a few obstacles both from within themselves and close family relationships and without. I love the best friends sibling trope and this one was great!

I enjoyed this best friend's sister, college sports romance. I liked Connor’s natural tendency to look out for Dana (his best friends' sister), putting her best interests above his own. The journey to their HEA was understandably bumpy given the family dynamics, but they certainly had a sweet and steamy romance along the way! Overall, there’s plenty of drama, emotion and angst, several laugh out loud moments, dirty talk and several steamy, explicit encounters.

I enjoyed reading this. The plot is very engaging, made me laugh and romance was heartfelt. There's loads of supporting characters, so I do recommend reading the previous series although I was able to get the who's who before too long in the story and everyone has an unique purpose. Connor is awesome, very patient and protective. Love has everything to do with this couple. Steady pace, read in one day. 4 1/2* I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
