I've read all of Rachel's books and have thoroughly enjoyed the Ransom series. I was a little disappointed with this one, though, the first 50% (I read on a Kindle, and it tells me how far in I'm in) could be any of the brothers personas as once you get inside their heads, there isn't that much different about them and the way they think. The last 50% was much better as it really got down to the nitty-gritty of Lennon's problems and was much more gripping. So much so that I stayed up till 3 am just to finish it after having struggled to get really into it in the first place. So although not one of Rachel's best books it is still worth a read to finish off all of the brother's stories.

I am a long time fan of Rachel Schurig and love reading what the Ransome boys have been up to! This is the 5th in the series and whilst it helps if you've read the others (character backgrounds and who everyone is!) it's not vital. This is Lennon's story. The quiet one in the band. The one that has real problems which Rachel addresses beautifully and sensitively. As a romantic novel, there is of course a love interest (the wild yet fragile Haylee) but Rachel always has twists and complexity to her characters that you don't expect. I was lucky enough to receive this copy as an ARC but have posted multiple reviews across all of Rachel's work. I can't wait to see what the Ransome boys get up to next!! (and if you're after more suggestions, try the Three Girls or Lovestruck series - again, great characters across multiple books!)

i loved this whole series. this one was the most emotional one with a little tragic depression but then there comes happiness i loved all the characters personalities it showed the two main characters thoughts so you know eachothers emotions than just one sided. very good im hoping nmaybe theres something else that they can do to,continue the series because it was great
