This is the second book in the Aussie Heroes: Retribution Bay series. Great addition to the series. It's set in the Australian Outback, has a rugged Aussie Cowboy and the heroine is strong and intelligent, all the makings of a good read for me. The author definitely didn't disappoint. The Stokes family story continues with Darcy in this book. His brother Brandon's story was book one. You can enjoy this book as a standalone but I recommend reading book one to get a better feel for the Stokes family and everything that’s going on, plus there is a secondary story arc that continues throughout the series. I love the Stokes family and can't wait to read more of their stories. Ed's story is next. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Great Return to Retribution Bay Claire Boston’s “Trapped In Retribution Bay” (Book 2 in the Aussie Heroes of Retribution Bay series) is a wonderful read that treats us to a steamy love story laced with a bit of suspense. The story is well-developed, as are the wonderfully relatable characters who make me want to sit down with them for a chat and cuppa. Darcy is a hard-working single dad who adores his daughter and the rest of his family, and he becomes completely enchanted by his daughter’s beautiful, sweet riding instructor. Faith, an attorney who has been handling a whole lot of family stuff herself, is intensely attracted to the handsome, sexy rancher, and their connection strengthens as she becomes embroiled in his family’s troubles. I adore nearly every character in the cast (with the exceptions of Faith’s dad and Darcy’s ex), and I can’t wait for the next family member to get an HEA! Very happy to give this five stars!

The second book in the Aussie Heroes: Retribution Bay series a well written story that kept me turning pages. There is so much happening in Darcy Stokes his daughter Lara, and Faith Arnold's life as they fight to save his 150-year-old sheep station, they will be hampered by Stonefish. There is suspense, drama, danger, evil, villains some closer than they realize, and romance. I would recommend. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
