It took me sometime to get into but I eventually did. I'd advise the author to try and limit the characters as it can get confusing. There were some character whom I felt did not add anything to the story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Dark subject matter, but a great read. Author did a great job with character development, and I look forward to reading more books in this series (especially one featuring Alik).

Maksim is the first installment in the Las Vegas Petrov Bratva series. This book is a definite must read. I was captivated from the beginning and found it hard to put down. It's a slow burn, dark romance with lots of action, suspense and spice. Highly recommend it and I look forward to reading Alik's story next.
