It's definitely the best book I've EVER READ IN MY LIFE!!!! I really love the way that the author leaves you guessing what happens at the end of the book. I live that parts of ut are sad some bits are excuting and the fact that you can get a bit of an idea of what it was like for Jenny during HER war. I DEFINITELY recommend it to everyone.

About the author
Born in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, Margaret Dickinson moved to the coast at the age of seven and so began her love for the sea and the Lincolnshire landscape.
Her ambition to be a writer began early and she had her first novel published at the age of twenty-five. She has since written many novels including Plough the Furrow, Sow the Seed and Reap the Harvest, which make up her Lincolnshire Fleethaven Trilogy.
