About the author

Beena Nair
Dr. Beena Nair is Graduate and Post Graduate in Horticulture from KNK College of Horticulture, JNKVV Mandsaur and Doctorate in Vegetable Science from Department of Horticulture, JNKVV, Jabalpur (M.P.). The author was awarded University gold medals in the B.Sc and M.Sc Horticulture degree programmes. Presently she is working in AINRPOG. Dr. Nair has numbers of publications including, research, review and popular articles. 

K.P. Singh
Dr. Krishan Pal Singh is Graduate and Post Graduate in Horticulture from KNK College of Horticulture, Mandsaur and Doctorate in Vegetable Science from Department of Horticulture, JNKVV, Jabalpur (M.P.). He qualified ICAR NET examination in 2010. He has served JNKVV Jabalpur, IFFCO, etc. Presently he is working Subject Matter Specialist in KVK, Banasthali, Tonk. He has more than 40 publication including research and papers, book chapter and papers in seminars and symposia. Dr. Singh is recipient of Young Scientist Award of Bioved Research Society.

P. Chand
Dr. Prem Chand is Graduate in Agriculture and Post Graduate in Agricultural Economics from SKRAU, Bikaner and Doctorate in Dairy Economics from NDRI, Karnal. He started his career in 2008 as SRF at NDRI, Karnal. He has also served Amity University in the capacity of Lecturer. Now, he is working as at ZPD, Zone-VII, ICAR, Jabalpur since 2009. Dr. Chand has 25 publication including research papers, books, book chapter/training manuals/booklets, review articles. He has also represented India as a participant of an International training of ASEAN.
