Ratings and reviews

It was basically an extended teaser at 123 pages. Nothing really special happens and no one gets together with anyone. It basically set the plot line for the next book, and everything of interest will happen in the next book. Her style of writing has not changed and it is still enjoyable, but don't go into the book thinking of it as a book where you have an actual story line. I pre-ordered this book after finishing her last, so I did not read the summary or the page information before I started it... :(

This is a cute novella that fills the gap between two of the books, so I recommend that you read the books in order or at least start with "...Stray Vampires", otherwise you won't enjoy the characters as much. I thoroughly love the dialogue and style of writing in this book, as I have with everything other book I have read of Ms. Harper's. This is a really fun series!

Definitely need to read this series in order.
