After another night of fun, Zero is alerted to the presence of another time traveller who has sought him out across time and space. The traveller is his wife he hasn’t seen for fifty years. She has come to remind him it's their Wedding Anniversary. They discuss old times together and make plans for a reconciliation in the future.

Zero is happy, until a massive time disturbance breaks the peace and Zero and his wife are forced to reveal their true powers to the inhabitants of the wild west town.

The excerpt indicates the sorry is written from the viewpoint of "Subject Zero", yet it doesn't feature the apparent protagonist until almost halfway through. The writing is repetitive and frankly boring. How many times should the reader see 'red Ferrari' in order to understand the car is red? The characterizations are shallow and there's no reason to feel for any of them. I think the author should have stated with the excerpt premise and written it from SZ's viewpoint it might have been interesting then.

I stopped reading after about 5 or 6 pages of too much detail and poor sentence structure. The killer was reading a line that said “he swung the his car" glad it was free because it seemed like a bad fan fiction or a high schoolers attempt at writing an essay.

The story is short , action packed, well written and entertaining. I find I was more interested in the team than subject zero and I wish the follow up stories were about them instead, but as a stand alone short story this is quite good.
