BEAUTIFUL! That's the word I will use to describe this story. Not only did I swoon over Wyatt-who is absolutely amazing- but I got the importance  of forgiveness towards others but more importantly yourself. Not allowing the past to dictate your future especially when it prevents future happiness and understanding that life isn't perfect and it's okay to draw up a new plan when it's time.

Say you Want Me can be read as a stand alone but you meet the hero and heroine in the first book, Say You'll Stay. Wyatt Hennington is Zach's younger brother and Presley's best friend from childhood. Angie is Presleys ex sister-in-law and best friend. They have hooked up a few times over the last couple of years and have insane chemistry. In this book they give their relationship a chance. Wyatt is a really great guy. Hard working, sensitive, and sexy. Angie is a fiercely independent woman who really doesn't have anyone she can count on. I didn't fall in love with this book like I did the first one. Something was off. But it may have very well just been me. I didn't really buy into their relationship. But it was interesting to see Wyatt and Angie work through their problems and the writing is phenomenal. I love everything Corinne Michaels has written and can't wait to read the next one.

I can't seem to pin point what's lacking from this book, but I just can't seem to fully connect with the story and the characters. I don't feel any tingling sensation during those sweet moments nor do I feel the depth of emotions they felt from the loss, it just felt forced... I just can't connect. I don't find this as engaging as I hope it would be.. I'm giving this a 3.5 star.
