Fabulous collection, each book gives you a wonderful set of characters to love while keeping all the characters of Bourbon Springs intertwined. Secret Blend: What a pleasant surprise. I got the opportunity to review this book by the author through a GoodReads group. I was very intrigued by the synopsis and have to admit that I truly enjoyed the story. Jennifer Bramseth gives us a great town with a strong heritage in bourbon making that provides a wonderful back drop for this romance. Brady and Rachel have known each other for years, they are friends and even worked together during law school. As the outsider looking in, I sensed that there should be more to this relationship but neither ever acknowledged or took a chance on anything other than friendship. When they both end up back in their hometown working and Rachel gets the job Brady has been slaving for, well, the sparks start to fly. This story had me hating Brady at one point then totally rooting for him to succeed. I love the banter we get with Rachel and Brady. Rachel is tough and won't take any of his crap which is awesome to see, he needs someone to put him in his place and wake up to how far his priorities had gotten screwed up. I love the balance of their romance coupled with them working on their careers along with how they interact with the town. Overall a wonderful romance to escape with that will keep you on your toes! Filtered Through Blue: Hannah is spunky and takes no prisoners yet when we meet her she has found herself in a marriage that is opposite who she truly is inside. What is Hannah hiding from? That's truly what I start to sense about her, she settled for something that she thought felt right but it's not who she really is or what she truly wants. Kyle, the local sheriff, has always loved Hannah. (If you read Secret Blend you picked up on this.) When Kyle finds Hannah at her lowest, he shows her what a true friend really is by just being there to help her pick up the pieces. Now that Hannah is free from Josh, will she let herself recognize what her heart has always known? Will she fight her families dislike of Kyle to have him in her life? How long can Kyle take being the Davenports punching bag? Another fabulous romance from Jennifer Bramseth with all the love, passion and sexiness you want built on a wonderful foundation in the town of Bourbon Springs and their devotion to bourbon. Angel’s Share: Will Bo ever learn? Lila has suffered so much loss so her family home and the springs on her property mean the world to her, when Bo threatens the very land she cherishes, well, she digs in and fights back. Bo is so stubborn and can only see his father's vision for the distillery, will he let this cloud his judgement about Lila and cause him to miss out on love? This is a fabulous back and forth between two very strong-willed and passionate individuals. You can't help but want them to figure out they are the best thing in the world for each other but Jennifer Bramseth keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat. As an added bonus you get to spend more time with all the characters in Bourbon Springs which to me is wonderful.

Secret Blend (Bourbon Springs Box 1) Ms Bramseth's first book in the Bourbon Springs series is a wonderful start to a story that has limitless avenues in which to pursue to keep readers coming back over and over again. The story begins with Brady and Rachel's story that is so very heartwarming...leaving you with wanting more of the lives of the characters of Bourbon Springs, Kentucky. Secret Sauce Short Story (Bourbon Springs Book 1.5): A sweet, short story that continues the heartwarming love story of Brady and Rachel. More glimpses are given of what is to come for the future of the characters of Bourbon Springs Filtered Through Blue (Bourbon Springs Box 2): The second in the Bourbon Springs series carries on very nicely from the first book. The characters continue to develop and you become more attached to them. Looking forward to continuing the series as it develops Angel's Share (Bourbon Springs Book 3): A sweet comfortable read...with characters that you have already grown to love from the previous two books in the series. The author captures the emotions for each character so perfectly, leaving you with the same feelings as if are experiencing what the characters are in that moment. The story is constantly moving forward, never lost in too many scene descriptions, but just enough to where you feel you are right there...whether it's in the cold of the snow, or in awe while standing at the springs. I'm very much looking forward to reading further stories in the series.

The first story is kind of ridiculous, two professional judges with all the years of maturity behind them acting like immature fools with a bestfriend that acts like a scorned lover when she learned of the relationship between her ex and her bestfriend, ranting like a town crier for everyone to hear. And of course she is an esteemed lawyer too. Never thought professionals would act like the way they were acting.
