Ratings and reviews

A great read but at the end I didn't feel like any progress was made in the series from the last book. All you get at the end are more questions. Since it's set in the distant future it leaves you wondering if you'll ever find out what ultimately happens to the characters she spent so long developing and what went on with everyone else from the series during Karigan's absence. We're given bits and pieces but that's all. Sad it'll be another three years to get any answers.

I didn't like this book. Loved all the others in the series and if the author wanted to write steampunk, why not write that novel? This book didn't advance the series much and I hope the next book is better.

The book itself is great. Unfortunately there are large chunks of it missing. Chapters suddenly end and move onto the next one. Buy it if you are too desperate to wait for a hard copy
