Im 42, my mom is 82 and we love reading these books. My kids used to love them too. I find them so interesting. I wish I could buy them all. Unfortunately bills come first as well as unexpected other expenses. Mom likes them, because she doesn't need a glasses to read them and I get a great story that doesn't take long. Which means no staying up late to finish it.
