Wasnt my first book on this series because i just found the 12th book laying around the school library that started this whole obsession... Anyway,great book,got me into reading and having fun while doing it so absolutely holds a place in my heart

I read it in the library and I was great! It is about a young barn owl named, Soren and he gets pushed of by is older brother, Kludd and I couldn't stop reading I followed Sorens' missions and adventures. Him meeting the cannibal, black creatures, the 'hagsfiends' finds who the traitors are from the 'Great Tree and also talks with his dead parent in the 'Spirit Woods' and finds out that Kludd killed their own parents!
