Gabriel is a hot bodyguard, Ruby is the subservient daughter of a senator who hides her real self behind sweet smiles and frumpy clothes, raised in the bible belt of South Carolina where women are taught to serve their men folk. I loved Ruby's character she was naive, funny and determined but she's also in danger from a crazy stalker and that's why Gabriel's been assigned to keep her safe. But can he keep his desire for her in check? This book is a slow burn, building up to a passionate climax that was well worth the wait. With great characters and an excellent story line this book is a must read.
