About this ebook

My name is Benjamin Dorsey. You know my mom and dad's story. You know Kylie's parents' story. You even know Kylie's story.

You don't know mine, yet.

You don't know what a broken heart is until you've loved someone your whole life, only to have her slip through your fingers because you waited too long. That's heartbreak. That's regret. And how do you live with that? How do you go through the motions when she's there as a reminder of what you lost, of what you could have had but were too damn chicken to go after? I couldn't. So I left.

That's right, I ran away. I found myself across the continent, playing minor league football. I mean, at least I still had football, right?

Nope. That got taken away from me too. A career-ending injury left me down-and-out, scraping the bottom of the barrel, hating myself and hating life. And then I met Cheyenne Leveaux, my physical therapist, who became my one and only friend, the one bright light in the darkness of my messed up life.

But of course nothing is ever simple, or easy.

Tragedy struck, and the rug was swept out from under me yet again, and this time the guilt, the doubt, the secrets, and the old heartbreak may threaten my one chance at true happiness, my one shot at my own happily ever after.

4.5 stars This has been one of those where you can’t help but feel for Ben. After everything that happened in Falling Under I wanted his story so bad. This to me starts out sad. Ben is alone and he basically chooses to keep it that way. I respect his decision, I feel it is rather grown up on his part. Punches do not take long to be pulled. I didn’t read the blurb at all (it’s Ben, I didn’t care about anything else). Ben and Echo are a couple dripping in Chemistry. There is a chaptered appropriately titled as such and it was whoa, so dang hot. I liked the fact that they could barely touch and you could still feel it from them just hanging out. They also made me laugh a lot. Away is in no means a light read. Just like the other 3 in the series there are major issues between these two and all around in general. There are moments of sadness, heartbreak and a little confusion. I’m kind of sad that this is the end of the series but I’m happy it ended with Ben. I wanted him to get his HEA so bad. His journey was far from easy but I felt like he was able to grow into a man with the things he experienced. I don’t think he could have found anymore more complicated and messed up than Echo

The author is amazing and i love the songs ahe adds. I often play the song she puta in while i read. I was a little said the jumped to a year later ao fast at the end of the book. I would of liked to see Echo meeting everyone like Bens parents and Kylie. I also woild of love for Kylie to be a little jealous of Ben and Echo but i did like the ending for sure it was cute and everyone ended up happy which i always love in a good book.

Geez. My eyes are sore from crying and my heart is full from getting to know these two characters. I'm so glad they found each other even if it is a work of fiction.
