About this ebook

From the author of Saving a Legend (“A deep and moving story about family, acceptance, and love.”—Katy Evans) comes another smoldering MMA romance featuring the Kavanagh brothers, the chiseled alpha males whose real legacy is love.

Kane Kavanagh has always had one goal: being the best mixed martial arts fighter alive. With the MMA National Championships in Las Vegas fast approaching, the man they call “Killer” has no intention of letting anyone or anything get in his way. Somehow, though, a feisty opponent has slipped beneath his guard—and stolen his heart. Fiery and passionate, Nora Hannigan is harder to pin down than any rival Kane has faced in the ring. And she isn’t afraid to tell Kane that she wants nothing to do with him.

With her best friend about to marry into the Kavanagh family, Nora has been resisting Kane’s shameless attempts at flirting for months. But after their undeniable chemistry finally takes over, leading to the hottest night of Nora’s life, she’s running scared. There’s a lot about her life Kane doesn’t know, and she won’t be responsible for ending his career. Now Kane’s out to prove that he’s ready for a commitment by winning her heart—and he’s never lost a fight.

***4 ‘All Strings Attached’ Stars*** I thank the voices in Ms. Robinson’s head that have created such an amazing family like the Kavanagh’s because without them Kane and Nora would have probably driven me to violence instead of simply batshit crazy. This isn’t to say I didn’t like them, I did, but holy hell these two… Kane and Nora are two peas in a pod and part of me wants to get into all of their issues, but that would turn this review into a dissertation and no one needs that, so you’ll just have to read the book to see what thoughts swirl about in their heads. What I will say is that they both question their self-worth. They constantly question if they are “good enough” and though I got it, I couldn’t wait for them both to get the kicks in the arses that got them to realize it wasn’t true because when they weren’t having pity parties they were both pretty amazing people. Dedicated and with generous hearts, they both want to give a helping hand to those who needed it and are protective of those they call their own. Their journey from enemies to lovers and their HEA is filled with a lot of ‘I want you’s but I can’t have you’s’ and while it did make my head spin and drive me batshit crazy, what saved them was when they let their walls down and forgot all the reasons they “couldn’t” be together, they were fun to be around. I liked their bantering and how they ended up being quite protective of each other. There were sweet and swoon worthy moments as well as hot smexy moments and I liked how they finally got their heads out of their arses (with a little help of course) and saw what was right in front of them the whole time. I’m a sucker for well written secondary characters, whether it be friends and/or family and keeping up to date with past couples and Ms. Robinson does a great job at both, which is one of the main reasons I follow this series. I’ve loved the Kavanagh clan from the start and how they are always in each others business. I love the insight and depth they add to the characters and the story, and how they feel like a family with all the crazy that goes with it. It took me a bit to get into the story in the beginning because things felt a little choppy, but things smoothed out and I really enjoyed it, even when I wanted to smack some sense into Kane and Nora. I loved catching up with the Kavanagh’s and I’m looking forward to getting my hands on Chasing a Legend! (Also as a side note: I wouldn’t be put out at all if we got Seamus and Dee’s story at some point, even if it’s a novella or something like that :D ) ~ Copy received from the publisher via NetGalley & voluntarily reviewed ~

I think this series keeps getting better and better. I adored Kane's story. He was the Kavanagh I knew the least about and what I did know was that he was cocky and brass. Turns out he wasn't those things at all. Definitely confident and determined, on a mission to be the best MMA fighter around. Now two months out from the fight that would seal that belief he needs to stay focused. Letting the feisty Nora Hannigan get to him in any way isn't acceptable but the chemistry between them isn't something he can easily ignore. Sometimes the heart and the brain don't communicate!! The writing and pace of the story are fantastic and these characters will win you over from the first page. I definitely recommend this one for everyone.
