I was so excited to read this because I heard such great things about it. Now I'm wondering why. It was just okay, could've put it down and not finished it and been perfectly content but I paid for it so I finished it.

I've read all of the Women's Murder Club and Alex Cross books and LOVE them. Since this wasn't a series book, I wasn't sure I'd like it as much but wow, it kept me wondering right up until the end. I love this author and cannot wait to read even more of his work!

It's not as suspenseful as some of the other books by this author. It didn't hold my attention to read the book all the way through at one sitting.
