This was a quick little book about Holly, who is having a rough go of life. She works long hours (almost as many as her workaholic boss), trying to make a good life for her two kids and herself. It's the week before Christmas and she is tired, lonely and broke. She is so tired that she inadvertently leaves her purse and phone on her desk when she leaves for the night and one thing after another piles up to make her very sad and weepy. Declan is tired and running on fumes, with just four hours of sleep in the last couple of days. But, he doesn't want to go home to a cold, lonely house. When he finally forces himself to call it a night, he notices that one of his employees left her purse and phone, so he checks to make sure there is no one in the building before locking it up for the night. He finds Holly sitting in her car in the parking lot because her car won't start. He talks her into letting him take her home, since it would take hours for a tow truck to come pick her up. They end up stopping to get a meal together and talking for a while before he takes her home. You really should read this great, quick story.

I really liked this book up until the end. The sex scene was way too long & drawn out for the length of the book.The book ends after they declare their love for each other. No epilogue.
