The Unintended Fiance is an entertaining contemporary romance by Miranda P. Charles. Ms. Charles has penned a book that is fun to read and loaded with lovable characters. Erin offers to let her best friend's brother bunk in her spare room while his new house is built. Brad needs a fake girlfriend for a contract he's going after and Erin needs a fake boyfriend so her ex will leave her alone. Brad and Erin's story is packed with drama, humor, spice and suspense. I enjoyed reading The Unintended Fiance and look forward to reading more from Miranda P. Charles in the future. The Unintended Fiance is book 4 of the Captured by Love Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Erin and Brad became roommates while his house us being built. Erin's ex works for her company but he cheated on her and then got married. Now he wants her back. Brad owns a Interior design company and is trying to get a big account. But he had a couple of dates with the man's wife before they were married and he thinks Brad still wants her. So Erin and him come up with the idea of "pretending" to be boyfriend and girlfriend. Erin must keep her heart out of it because Brad has made it clear he is not relationship material. But when Brad has to give her up to keep from having her name dragged through the mud, he finally realizes he can't live without her. Funny. Sexy. A "Who done it?" story. And a little sad. I usually figure these out but I was totally shocked. Loved it! *RECEIVED A COPY FROM AUTHOR FOR HONEST REVIEW*

Loved the writing style, very engaging. Wish the author had let the lady save the day instead of having the man resolve the problems and reclaim the lady as a prize.

She prefers to spend her time in front of her laptop, putting into words the love stories that play in her head. Don't get her started with reading a great book, though, because she has the tendency to not put it down until she gets to the last page.

She does have a life outside of books. Mostly, that consists of bonding with family and friends or going on romantic trips with her awesome husband (who, thankfully, puts up with her hermit-like daily routine). Oh, yeah, there's also the housework. But she really wishes someone else could do that for her so she could get back to her books!
