Sooooo glad the author has written another awesome story for her Somewhere, TX series; and what a story it is. We have the evil matriarch of a pack who has no choice but to follow her instructions, no matter how morally wrong they may be. There's a human turned against his will, ordered to do what's against every wolf's nature, so he can save a family member. The Moon Goddess must be watching over him as he can escape, even when he's hurt she must be watching over him for he's found and rescued. Now the real adventure begins. Fate steps in and sends him a healer who is also able to teach about being a Moonbound wolf, as he was turned against his will and their rules; you'll never guess why this was done to him. Almost immediately they both feel this pull to each other, she knows what it is, but as he knows literally nothing about what he has become, he's just one hot mess. This book delivers a really potent blend of intense emotions, excitement, inner turmoil, tension, suspense, danger and twists that grabbed and held my interest well. Christian and Ella were very likable, and I felt deeply for both of them. A very enjoyable addition to this fun series. I am volitionally posting a frank review.
