About this ebook

From New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Julia Kent:

Hot make-out session? Check. With the dreamy obstetrician? Check. While her best friend is in labor? Um...

It's Complicated.

Josie
Mendham never meant to have her own (radically different) set of gasps
and moans a few doors down from where her best friend, Laura, was giving
birth. And stealing away with the obstetrician who was consulting on
Laura's case certainly wasn't part of any birth plan.

When Dr.
Alex Derjian watched the foursome enter the labor ward he did a
doubletake: two dads? That defied biology as he knew it. Even more
intriguing was the woman with the birthing mother and the fathers:
Josie, the nurse he'd been watching from afar for months. One elevator
kiss led to an on-call room soiree and soon he was breaking every
romantic rule in his playbook.

Finding his way into her pants wouldn't be hard.

But into her heart? That would be a challenge.

As Josie's niece, Darla (from the New York Times and USA Today Bestseller Random Acts of Crazy) moves in and her best friend, Laura (from the New York Times bestselling Her Two Billionaires
series), becomes consumed by motherhood, romantic comedy meets New
Adult romance in this 130,000 word/514 page novel that asks whether
people can get out of their own way and learn that love isn't easy...but
it's always worth it

Another standout book for Julia Kent! I have read all of her previous books, but even if I hadn’t, I would have fallen in love with this one. Having read the previous books will give you some valuable backstory, but is in no way necessary to be able to follow and thoroughly enjoy this incredible book. Julia Kent is outrageously talented in character development. I have absolutely fallen in love with these characters. They are so believable and relatable and flawed and quirky and funny and just real. You just can’t help but become invested in their lives and you find yourself rooting for them to find their HEA. Laura, Mike, and Dylan return for the birth of their child in what has to be the most hilarious labor story I think I’ve ever read. Laura’s best friend, Josie does some heavy breathing of her own during Laura’s labor with hot Dr. Alex, a very talented multi-tasker who is able to fully satisfy Josie and deliver Laura’s baby. Then we have Darla, Trevor, and Joe, from Random Acts of Crazy as they begin to try to make their trio work on a day to day basis. These three are positively scorching! Last but not least, there’s Madge and Ed, partners in a very unconventional senior citizen romance. Now you start to understand the title a little bit. Do yourself a favor. Set aside some time and lose yourself in this book. You won’t regret it.

I loved this book, it was a great read, funny and some steamy sex scenes. The characters Josie a nurse and Alex a hot sexy doctor were perfect together. This book brings in characters from Her Two Billionaire Series and Random Acts Of Crazy. I like it when the others are brought into a story so you know a little bit more about what happens with them. And in It's Complicated you can relate to Josie And Alex with the feel of the relationship and the problems that can happen in a relationship. You will love this book.

I really loved the Random Acts of Crazy and the Billionaire series. This was kind of drawn out a bit and I found the moments with Josie eyeing up Joe and Trevor kind of disgusting. The plot is okay but it was too long.

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Julia Kent turned to writing contemporary romance after deciding that life is too short not to have fun. She writes romantic comedy with an edge, and new adult books that push contemporary boundaries. From billionaires to BBWs to rock stars, Julia finds a sensual, goofy joy in every book she writes, but unlike Trevor from Random Acts of Crazy, she has never kissed a chicken.
