I love a new series by BJ Daniels but this one is going back to Whitehorse, Montana where she has written a previous series and it was fantastic to be able to go back! I loved the previous series in Whitehorse so I knew I would love this one too. Even though this is the first book, it hooks you from the beginning! There has been a kidnapping of twin babies that happened 25 years ago and it's a cold case. The McGraw family has never been the same and there are still so many secrets. True crime writer, Nikki St. James, wants to write a book about the kidnapping and gets permission from the father of the twins so she moves onto the ranch. Things immediately begin to happen - she is the catalyst! Cull, who is the oldest son, at first doesn't want anything to do with Nikki's book but then he bends to the wishes of his father. This family and the people who live on the ranch are so dysfunctional! Over the years there have been so many secrets kept and accusations made. The author writes great suspense and great characters! I definitely recommend this book. I can hardly wait for the next book to come out!

This is like all of BJs books. It keeps you at the edge of your seat. I would tell my friends its a must read.
