Sal Tocco is a retired business executive living in Massachusetts with his wife. The Cardinal and the Crook is his first novel. It was inspired by an intriguing conversation with an elderly relative nearly thirty years ago when he learned of two ancestors who chose dramatically different paths in their lives.
