About this ebook

FROM NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR DR. JASON FUNG • “The doctor who invented intermittent fasting.” —The Daily Mail

“Dr. Fung reveals how [type 2 diabetes] can be prevented and also reversed using natural dietary methods instead of medications … This is an important and timely book. Highly recommended.” —Dr. Mark Hyman, author of The Pegan Diet

“Dr. Jason Fung has done it again. … Get this book!” —Dr. Steven R. Gundry, author of The Plant Paradox

Everything you believe about treating type 2 diabetes is wrong. Today, most doctors, dietitians, and even diabetes specialists consider type 2 diabetes to be a chronic and progressive disease—a life sentence with no possibility of parole. But the truth, as Dr. Fung reveals in this groundbreaking book, is that type 2 diabetes is reversible.

Writing with clear, persuasive language, Dr. Fung explains why conventional treatments that rely on insulin or other blood-glucose-lowering drugs can actually exacerbate the problem, leading to significant weight gain and even heart disease. The only way to treat type 2 diabetes effectively, he argues, is proper dieting and intermittent fasting—not medication.

The Diabetes Code is unabashedly provocative yet practical ... a clear blueprint for everyone to take control of their blood sugar, their health, and their lives.”—Dr. Will Cole, author of Intuitive Fasting

This book was recommended by my Doctor, I am so grateful for the opportunity it has given me to take control of my diabetes and get shot of medicines. I would advise everyone to follow it's advise, good luck.

Truly life changing info. I was Type 2 on two meds (including insulin). Now my blood sugars are low and I'm off all medication and dropping weight at the same time. Thank you Dr. Fung.

A book that describes what is required for us, in order to improve our Diabetes and other like diseases, I read a book from 1917, as a result of fear, that instructed how to manage your diabetes type 2 then…then compared to the advice I got, from the ADA in Canada, I started to investigate and this is one of several books I have read about the PROPER WAY to live and manage your life after diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2. In less than 3 months, I went from an A1C of 10.5 to 4.8 …. No medication oral or injected. We need to take care of our health and use the PhD information available, as our food industry has vested interest in not allowing the people to know the best way to be healthy. I do not blame them for trying to be that way, but thank to books like this, we can find more wisdom available to the regular people like me. Almost two years and my A1C and daily blood checks are below 4.9 …. (Or 88 in the USA scale)… Jose Limas 
