This was a really unique look at Snow White and Rose Red. Though, it sounds like this is much closer to the original than the Disney version most of us grew up with. (I thought my knowledge of fairy tales was extensive, but I actually had to look it up to find that out.) I had so much fun watching Red and her hero as they got to know one another. And I particularly love every time the author plays with the stereotypes to turn the heroine into the “hero” in the end.

Another re-imagining of a classic, this story is loosely based on Snow White and Rose Red. Rose and her sister are trying to avoid the prophecy from coming true and there are many twists and turns that make it different from the original but also a really good read. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A perpetual fan of Greenwood and her creativity. I'm loving the alternate take on classic fairy-tales and the feel-good nature of these shorter reads.
