This one was a little slower compared to the first two books, but it was still a good read. I'm really curious about what Alex is keeping from Fiona because he is very wishy-washy with her. I ended up yelling at my phone from being so annoyed with him. Still give it a thumbs up and patiently waiting on the next book.

This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series! Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story. Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read more of these. Recommend reading. I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

Knows how to draw the reader in and leave them eagerly waiting for more Fiona, the grieving daughter, is temporarily hidden by Alex, a police detective and former lover, after the assassination of her fiancé and his family. As the story progresses the mystery surrounding everything deepens, some of the restraints placed on her loosen, and trying to make sense of what is happening only drives her further into danger. W.L. Knightly really knows how to draw the reader in and leave them eagerly waiting for more. I still have no clue who to even suspect at this point. I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
