This novella centers on Kate and Nick. Kate has always been the rebound girl, second choice and left behind. For a long time she has had a crush on Nick but he has never seemed to notice her until now but she has a hard time believing his intentions are noble. Carly Philips has created a cute romance, being a novella it is a quick read yet still highly entertaining. Even though this is an entertaining book I felt that the romance was lacking, maybe it is because I have not read any of the series prior to this, the romance seemed rushed since this is a novella it is understandable. However, the characters each of the characters in the story are so captivating and interesting that this is certainly a fantastic teaser making you want to read more from the series. I was sent a free copy of this book for an honest review.
