About this ebook

Over the course of life, many people become puzzled by circumstances beyond their control – both their own and those of others. It is only natural to wonder, Why do bad things happen to good people?”

While investigating, if one encounters the principle of karma, one may still be left asking, “What does karma mean, and how exactly does it work?”

In the book “The Science of Karma”, Gnani Purush (embodiment of Self knowledgeDada Bhagwan explains the meaning of karma according to spiritual science.

Dadashri offers in-depth answers to questions such as: “What is the law of karma, and how can I master it?”, “What is destiny, and does destiny relate to karma?”, “Is it your destiny to forever face karmic lessons?”, “Can spiritual enlightenment liberate one from karma?”

Dadashri offers a precise karma definition, and then continues on to explain that the knowledge of Self is the beginning of true spiritual development. From spiritual awakening, and from understanding the law of karma, one learns how to get inner peace within the problems in everyday life.

For those wondering how to live in peace in the midst of life’s challenges, this book is an invaluable resource.

About the author

Ambalal M. Patel was a civil contractor by profession. In June 1958, spontaneous Self-Realization occurred within Ambalal M. Patel. From this point on, Ambalal became a Gnani Purush, and the Lord that manifest within him became known as Dada Bhagwan. A Gnani Purush is One who has realized the Self and is able help others do the same. He said that, “The same Lord, Dada Bhagwan exists in all living beings. The difference between you and me is that in me The Lord has manifested fully in me and he is yet to manifest in you.”

Param Pujya Dadashri used to go from town to town and country-to-country to give satsang (spiritual discourse) and impart the knowledge of the Self, as well as knowledge of harmonious worldly interactions to everyone who came to meet him. This spiritual science, known as Akram Vignan, is the step-less path to Self-realization.

This book is a humble attempt to present to the world, the essence of his Knowledge. Great care has been taken to preserve his original words and the essence of his message.
