Not my cuppa, but sure it has allure for others. I wasn't a fan of what felt like skimmed over subjects, explanations ("Oh I can do this? And my mom totally knew and was like 'I thought this was gonna happen! /sheepish grin' How crazy! Moving on...") and justifications for odd stuff just wasn't accounted for. This, to me, read the way a tabletop rpg feels when you're being railroaded to a story, and by God you're gonna get there.

Great series of books. I had trouble putting it down. There were so many twists that I had a hard time predicting, which kept me interested. I especially loved how each book held at least a hint of what was to come in the next one. Would love to see the series continue. The only issue I had throughout reading was the occasional spelling and grammar error. But even those didn't deter me from reading the books.

Crystal Frost: The Complete Series Box Set was a little slow at first and then picks up as you approach the end. It was pretty okay but there needs to be more action in the middle of the story.
