This photography book is very helpful to me. I got my DSLR gears but did not know how to come out from Auto exposure mode from it. Now after reading this book I am confidant to go manual mode. Book is simply excellent. Plus video tutorial is also well explained.

I purchased this while on vacation for a morning read with my coffee, but I kept coming back to it during the day. The book is professionally written as are the videos that accompany the material. I highly recommend this book to anyone who buys a DSLR, not to make money but for the enjoyment of taking photos, and gaining the skill to take good ones.

This book strikes a difficult balance between providing content for the complete beginner and the intermediate photographer. It contains a great variety of content and great ideas to inspire you to try new things with your camera. the included videos really give you some hands on examples of the content in the book. I would highly recommend it without reservation!
