It was great! I really loved the book! It showed a lot of things that I had experienced myself in middle school. Everything didn't go as I would hope in middle school but it was still nice for me to go back and reminisce about the good times in middle school. Jorge is a pretty cool guy too! He was nervous about his crush but he still went for her and ended up scoring a home-run and I've felt super proud of him. It taught me that even though you're scared, don't be afraid to take a leap of faith.

So I have read the other book Brave in my school library and I found this for a home reading project and I can't wait to read the other book (I can't remember the name)in this little collection!

I loved her other two books so much and when I found out there was i third i just had to read it! Her books are such a good read, I highly recommend them!

About the author
Svetlana Chmakova was born and raised in Russia until the age of 16, when her family emigrated to Canada. She quickly made a name for herself with works like Dramacon, Nightschool, the manga adaptation of James Patterson's Witch & Wizard, and the webcomic Chasing Rainbows. She graduated from Sheridan College with a three-year Classical Animation Diploma. Her latest work for middle grade readers, Awkward, has been a runaway critical success and was named one of YALSA's 2016 Top Ten Great Graphic Novels for Teens!
